We’re still so proud of this group. 🇨🇦❤️⁣ ⁣ Team Canada takes home silver in women’s hockey after a heartbreaking overtime loss. 👏⁣ ⁣ Kristin O’Neill opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal in the first period to give Canada the lead. 💪⁣ ⁣ In 2022, O’Neill was on the Olympic taxi squad, on call in case a player tested positive for COVID-19, and never got to play. Today, she scored the opening goal in a gold medal game. Full-circle moment. ✨⁣ ⁣ Team USA veteran Hilary Knight tied the game to force OT, where Megan Keller scored the game-winner. ⁣ ⁣ Despite the ups and downs, Canada showed so much heart, and we couldn’t be prouder of these ladies and what they continue to do for women’s hockey. 🏒⁣ ⁣ #olympics #hockey #milanocortina2026 #womenssports
