Vogue’s May 2026 cover dropped a few days ago and it’s a first in the magazine’s history that Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour appeared together.
Shot by Annie Leibovitz, with both women wearing Prada ahead of The Devil Wears Prada 2 hitting theaters May 1.
It marks the first time Wintour has ever appeared as a cover subject in Vogue’s history. It was actually Streep herself who convinced Wintour to do it, after Vogue’s current editor Chloe Malle floated the idea and was initially turned down.
