Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty (real name: Lontrell Williams Jr.) and his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., were arrested on Wednesday along with 6 other suspects for their alleged hand in the robbery and kidnapping of Roderic “Gucci Mane” Davis. Arrested alongside Shiesty and his father was fellow Memphis rapper, BIG30 (Rodney Wright Jr.) According to the Department of Justice, the incident happened on January 10 and was the result of an attempted “armed takeover” during which they forced victims to sign contract release forms at gunpoint. Federal official also say Shiesty stole Rolex watches, rings, and money from the victims. Outside of the 8 arrested on Wednesday, another suspect is believed to be involved in the crime.
