‘Love Island USA’ contestant Alannah Keyser is speaking out after being removed from the Peacock dating series.
In a TikTok video, Keyser apologized for a six-year-old video of herself singing lyrics containing a racial slur, saying she understands why people were offended and that the word “is just not in my vocabulary anymore.”
She also claimed that screenshots circulating online had been falsified, adding that they “do not reflect the truth” and stating, “I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind and I never have.”
Keyser said the situation “broke my heart” and called it a learning experience, adding that she wishes viewers had the chance to get to know her personality on the show.
