Metallica is officially locking in its Las Vegas Sphere run.⁠ ⁠ The band announced an eight-show Las Vegas residency titled ‘Life Burns Faster,’ running across four ‘No Repeat Weekends’ in October. Each two-night stretch will feature completely different setlists, meaning no song gets played twice over a Thursday-Saturday run.⁠ ⁠ The venue’s wraparound LED display, immersive audio system, and 4D effects tech will reframe Metallica’s catalog into a fully sensory show with the band paying respect to U2 saying they knew they had to play the venue after seeing U2 open the building in 2023.
