The judge in Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s lawsuit, Phillip Hays, against the NCAA has recused himself.
Hays is a Lubbock native with two Tech degrees and didn’t give a reason for recusing.
The replacement judge will be picked by an administrative judge with degrees from Texas A&M and Baylor.
