Pascal Siakam just quietly made ‘history’. Siakam was recently selected as an All-Star for the 2026 NBA All-Star game at Intuit Dome, while the Indiana Pacers sit at 13-36. With that, Siakam now owns the worst team record for an All-Star selection since Kobe Bryant’s farewell season in 2016, when the Lakers team was 9–44! That’s how rare this is. Team struggling. Wins hard to come by. Still NBA fans and coaches couldn’t ignore their impact. Siakam has been consistent, efficient, and clearly operating on a different level than the record suggests. Sometimes the numbers don’t tell the full story. This is one of those times. You don’t get All-Star recognition on a team like that unless you’re undeniable.
