The pit crew got replaced by Stormtroopers 😅
To promote the release of Revenge of the Sith in 2005, Red Bull Racing completely transformed itself for the Monaco Grand Prix.
The team’s cars featured special Star Wars-themed liveries with characters like Darth Vader, while mechanics traded their usual uniforms for Stormtrooper-inspired outfits in the pit lane. George Lucas also attended the event alongside Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and other characters from the film.
The movie premiered on May 19, 2005, and Red Bull rolled out the promotion during Monaco race weekend, creating one of the most memorable movie tie-ins in Formula 1 history.
