The program was first executed in the spring of 2023 and was created to give young women the opportunity to race at the highest level and help bridge the gap within the sport of professional racecar driving. We had a chance to speak with a handful of the F1 Academy drivers at the Disney x F1 Academy Driver dinner during the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and hear what the experience is like from their POV.
