The owner of Raising Cane's could be buying an NFL team soon. Todd Graves - the billionaire founder of the fast food chain - expressed interest in owning an NFL team when he was on the New Heights pod. He noted his close friendship with Saints owner Gayle Benson, and joked that if the Bensons ever sold the team, he might have an inside track. Raising Cane's has long had connections with the NFL. Sam Darnold recently served food at Seattle's first Raising Cane's after his Super Bowl victory. After the Eagles' SB win last year, Saquon Barkley also appeared at a Philly Raising Cane's. In 2022, Ja'Marr Chase worked at a Cane's drive-thru in Cincinnati. Cane's was even the first community partner of the Las Vegas Raiders - featuring tailgates and a Raiders-themed 10-foot-tall cup. Todd Graves is worth around $22 billion, and loves the NFL. So don't be surprised if we see chicken fingers on an NFL jersey in the near future. Because Graves could really go from founding a nationwide fast food chain to owning an NFL franchise.
