POTUS Donald Trump’s executive order regulating college sports going forward:
- College athletes can now only play a maximum of 5 seasons in a 5-year window.
- Maximum of ONE transfer before graduation, otherwise, need to sit a full season.
- Transfer portal window will not interfere with academic calendar.
- Schools that violate risk losing federal funding.
- Players that turn pro will not be able to return to college sports.
Looks like some regulation will be heading into the world of NIL & College sports. 👀
