Heineken is taking over Oslo Bar in Hackney for the UEFA Women’s Champions League final, after local alcohol advertising rules mean the brand can’t promote itself in host city Oslo, Norway.
The final takes place on May 23, with FC Barcelona facing OL Lyonnes at Ullevaal Stadion. Instead of activating in Norway, Heineken will host a London watch party at Oslo Bar, with every pint poured raising money for women’s football.
Heineken said it will also donate beyond the amount raised on the night, increasing the totalcontribution from the event.
Former England players Toni Duggan and Izzy Christiansen are also set to attend, with a live pre match Q&A taking place before kick off.
