Robert De Niro called Ariana Grande “probably the single talented scene partner I’ve ever been lucky enough to share the screen with,” while introducing the first trailer for “Focker-In-Law” at CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
De Niro and Ben Stiller took the stage together to debut the footage, marking the fourth installment in the “Meet the Parents” franchise and the first new entry in 16 years. Grande plays Olivia Jones, the girlfriend of a now grown up Henry Focker played by Skyler Gisondo. Her character reveals she trained as an FBI hostage negotiator, which wins over De Niro’s retired CIA agent Jack Byrnes almost instantly while putting Stiller’s Greg Focker on edge.
Directed by longtime franchise writer John Hamburg, the film sees Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo return alongside newcomers Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco. Grande’s casting follows her Oscar nominated turn as Glinda in the “Wicked” films. “Focker-In-Law” hits theaters on November 25, 2026.
