As I attended church services in the morning and broke bread with veterans at the Volunteers of America in the evening, I was uplifted by the works and prayers of my fellow New Yorkers.
Whether you spent today singing in pews, parading on Fifth Avenue, hunting for eggs in the grass, enjoying choreg, hot cross buns, escovitch, or roasted lamb, I hope every New Yorker celebrating had a joyous day marking a season of rebirth.
