Gymkhana is the 2-star Michelin Restaurant from London serving up insane Indian dishes, and they just opened up their second @gymkhanalasvegas location inside the @arialv.
With @thejoshelkin and @ricklox and our Indian friend for posterity ๐ญ we descended upon the amazing tasting menu and easily had one of our favorite meals in Las Vegas inside some time.
We housed a little bit of everything, starting with this incredible aloo chat? Sweet, savory, crunchy, crazy. The Venison Biryani was unlike any biryani I had before, opened up tableside, the pastry lid was so incredible I was peeling it off the sides of the dish when the guys weren't looking.
The Gol Guppas we started off with were awesome, popped them little fried wheat puffs with my thumb, filled with lentils/mint/cumin.
water.
Their "amritsari shrimp & scallops" were off the charts, almost like an Indian spice take on a Nashville hot ๐ญ๐ฅน crusting up both scallops and shrimp, except they used red chili, carom seed batter and dill.
The Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops...you see me lose my mind on it. It made it the best meal of our weekend by far.
The Salmon Tikka dish was a sight, but ended up tasting incredible. The Quail Seekh Kebab had us thinking Persian koobideh and spawned a table convo about Kibbeh ๐ญ
I can't recommend this place enough. I'm sure I missed menu items, especially the desserts...but plz let me know what I missed, or if anyone watching wants to come with me on a repeat visit?! ๐ญ๐ฅน๐ฎโ๐จ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
