Tiger Woods was arrested after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Jupiter Island, Florida, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
When officers reached the scene of the crash, Woods exhibited “signs of impairment,” officials said in a news conference. After conducting roadside tests, Woods was placed under arrest and was charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
A truck driver noticed Woods' Land Rover approaching from behind at a high rate of speed, officials said. The driver tried to move out of the way, but the road was narrow. Woods tried to swerve to avoid a collision, but clipped the trailer, and his Land Rover turned over onto the driver’s side. Neither driver was injured in the crash. In 2021, Woods was also involved in another rollover crash.
