I did it. For the last two years, my biggest goal has been to make the WSL Challenger Series. Last week, I was able to achieve that in Barbados.
When I see all the great surfers competing on the Challenger Series, I feel so inspired. I know it’s not popular to say this, but I want to be great. Humbly, I hope that I can be someone people look up to one day.
I know greatness is a long road and still far away, but every success is fuel to my fire. With every step I take, and with each experience I’m given—good or bad—my passion and obsession for surfing grows.
I don’t know exactly where this road will take me, but I’m going to enjoy every second because I know God has blessed me with it. Thank you to everyone who believes in me and supports me.
