Despite being undersized, Thomas played with speed, confidence, and scoring ability that made him one of the toughest guards in the country to contain. He went on to Washington, where he became a star in the Pac-10 and hit one of the biggest shots in conference tournament history.
Thomas was selected 60th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft, then turned himself into a two-time NBA All-Star. His 2016-17 season with Boston was legendary, averaging nearly 29 points per game and finishing top five in MVP voting.
