Before becoming a four-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer, Shaquille O’Neal starred at Cole High School on Fort Sam Houston. After transferring to Cole, Shaq led the Cougars to a perfect 36–0 season and the 3A State Championship in 1989. His numbers were impressive, with an average of 32 points, 26 rebounds, and 8 blocks per game.
