Born Gunner Shepardson in Richmond, Virginia. Nett grew up around music, his father being a songwriter and singer helped influence his taste at a young age from a wide range of artists like Michael Jackson, Chief Keef, & Deftones.
He started making music in fifth grade on his phone using BandLab, by the time high school rolled around, he was fully committed. Around that time, a friend from school connected him with Xaviersobased and introduced him to Discord communities like WitchGang, where he met most of his early producers.
In 2023, tracks such as “shine n peace” gained significant traction within the underground, somewhat intensely polarizing listeners. A distinct divide emerged, compelling the scene to align themselves as either admirers or detractors of Nettspend.
