Anthony Edwards made a cryptic remark after the All-Star game... And the internet has gone wild trying to interpret it. Ant was talking to Jalen Johnson, when he said, "I can't wait to come home... y'all got so many wings." Edwards is originally from Atlanta, so some speculate he could just be talking about going home and eating some wings. But on the flip side, some think he could be talking about coming to the Hawks in the near future. They do have a plethora of wings, including Johnson, Kuminga, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Let's say Ant wanted to leave Minnesota... He's in the midst of a 5-year, $244 million contract, and is due to make $48.9 million next season. To trade for him, the Hawks would need a massive trade offer. Right now, they'll receive the more favorable of the Pelicans' or Bucks' 2026 1st rounders. That Pelicans pick could be in the top 5. If you combine that with future 1st round picks, players like Zaccharie Risacher, Onyeka Okongwu, and others... A giant package could start to form. Again, this is just pure speculation. But after his recent comments, social media was quick to wonder if Ant really does want to play in his hometown. Could we really see a Jalen Johnson and Anthony Edwards team-up soon?
