With the Wings selecting Fudd with the No. 1 overall pick, Dallas is getting an elite shooter and playmaker.
But the storyline everyone's talking about? Paige and Azzi are reunited.
The two were teammates on UConn and won a national title together in 2025. And last year, Bueckers revealed in a video that she and Fudd were in a relationship.
While it's unknown how long they've been together, they've been friends for almost a decade.
Paige and Azzi met in 2017 at a Team USA tryout. Fudd admitted she didn't think much of Buecker's game at the time, but the two remained friends after camp.
Paige came to UConn in 2020, and Azzi followed the next year.
Now, the couple is reunited, and they're officially WNBA teammates.
And the basketball fit is perfect too.
Dallas already has a crowded frontcourt, and could use guard depth and shooting. They get that with Fudd, who's arguably the best pure shooter in the class.
