When this invitation (swipe left!) arrived through the letter box I actually had to sit down!!!!🥹☺️ I had the honour of visiting Buckingham Palace to celebrate The King’s Trust 50th Anniversary at a very special Garden Party, in the presence of the Royal Founding President, His Majesty King Charles III.
Marking 50 years of The King’s Trust in such a historic setting was a dream. I was amongst supporters, partners, volunteers and friends all reflecting on the impact that The Trust has achieved on the lives of 1.5 million young people in the UK and across the world over the past five decades. We were entertained by King’s Trust alumni Wil Osgood, Brandon Tattersall, Tiernan Heffron, Sophie Hurst and Brandon Treacy, who moved us all with inspiring entertainment, personal insight, and powerful reflections on their experiences and the work of The Trust.
Other Trust-supported young people showcasing their talents around the garden included artist Ariel Gyori, and magician Chris Wall. I was introduced to this amazing organisation by my friend @chrissierucker and I helped her to spread the word of the amazing #changeagirlslifecampaign she founded and the #brilliantbreakfast she created. Thank you @chrissierucker @thewhitecompany 🤍
I feel proud to use this platform to support the incredible work of @kingstrust and look forward to sharing more with you in the years to come ♥️
