Streaming keeps getting pricier, and consumers keep paying. 📈
HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+ and now Paramount+ have all raised rates as sports rights surge and platforms reshuffle their lineups. HBO Max even dropped NBA games and will remove CNN’s live stream while increasing its cheapest tier to $10.99 a month.
Even with the hikes, churn stays low. Antenna data shows Netflix cancellations holding at 2%, and Disney+ and Hulu still posted strong September sign-ups despite higher defections.
