While most of us were still in diapers (or not even a thought yet), these three legends were sitting in the stands at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1967. This Sunday in San Francisco, they’ll officially hit 60 for 60. Before the game, they reunited at the @officialhardrock in SF.
After six decades of perfect attendance, the boys have hinted that Super Bowl LX will be their final ride.
Don Crisman (90): The Maine legend and die-hard Patriots fan. He paid $12 for his ticket to Super Bowl I. He thought he’d retire the streak at Super Bowl XXX, but then the Brady/Belichick era happened and he had no choice but to keep the heater alive.
Gregory Eaton (86): A businessman from Michigan and a lifelong Detroit Lions fan. He’s spent 60 years hoping to see his Lions in the Big Game—talk about the ultimate test of loyalty.
Tom Henschel (84): A native Pennsylvanian and massive Steelers fan. Despite battling health issues recently, he’s making the trip one last time to sit with the fellas.
What They’ve Seen:
🏈 Super Bowl I (1967): They were there when it was just called the “AFL-NFL World Championship.” There were 30,000 empty seats and the halftime show was literally just two college marching bands and a guy in a jetpack.
The Immaculate Eras: They saw the Steel Curtain dominate the 70s, the 49ers dynasty in the 80s, and the Cowboys’ run in the 90s.Prince in the Rain: They stood in the pouring Miami rain in 2007 for the greatest halftime show ever.
Super Bo Ticket Evolution: They’ve watched prices go from $12 in 1967 to $6,000+ today. These guys are the last of a dying breed. No missed games for weddings, no “I’m too tired,” and no excuses.
