StudioCanal, which owns the rights, had already signalled a fourth film was coming at a licensing convention in 2024, estimating a 2027 or 2028 release to coincide with the character’s 70th anniversary.
The bear first appeared in Michael Bond’s books in 1958. He arrived at Paddington Station with a note around his neck that read “Please look after this bear.” Sixty-seven years later, people still are.
