It’s not complicated. 💁‍♀️ Transfer your memory and chat history from other AI apps over to Gemini in just a few simple steps, so you can pick up right where you left off. 🧠 Teach Gemini about you with memory import On desktop, go to Settings > "Import memory to Gemini" Copy the prompt Gemini gives you and paste it into your old AI app Paste the summary it creates back into Gemini to save your preferences 📂 Transfer your past chat history Request a data export from your old AI app They will email you a .ZIP file containing your history Go to Settings > "Chat History Import" and upload that .ZIP file Both memory and chat history import are rolling out on desktop today and coming soon to the Gemini mobile app. 💻
