The Knicks’ championship run is officially part of New York City.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced temporary street co-namings honoring every player on the 2026 championship roster, creating a blue-and-orange route through Manhattan.
Each street was chosen to match a player’s jersey number, meaning you’ll find Jalen Brunson Way at West 11th Street, Karl-Anthony Towns at West 32nd Street, Josh Hart at West 3rd Street and more.
The commemorative signs have been installed along Sixth and Seventh Avenues and will remain up for the next four weeks, giving fans a chance to celebrate one of the greatest moments in Knicks history.
By the way, we have a weekly newsletter with what’s worth knowing about and doing in NYC. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
