“Heated Rivalry” is officially coming back for season two, with filming set to begin this August and a projected release in April 2027.
After premiering on Crave in Canada and HBO Max in the U.S., the show averaged more than 10.6 million viewers per episode and surpassed 300 million streaming minutes within weeks.
According to SeatGeek, NHL weekly ticket sales reportedly increased 20 percent following the show’s release.
Season two will adapt “The Long Game,” the sixth book in Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” series. continuing the story of two elite athletes balancing legacy, pressure and love under the spotlight.
