The Utah Jazz are going all-in on "big ball." Next season, when Kessler is back, the Jazz will feature a massive frontcourt that includes: 🏔 6'10" Jaren Jackson Jr 🏔 6'11" Kyle Filipowski 🏔 7'1" Lauri Markkanen 🏔 7'2" Walker Kessler The Jazz already had size, but they're now adding 2x All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr, who's putting up 19.2 PPG and shooting 35% from deep. Typically, teams that employ giants give up spacing for size. That won't be the case for the new-look Jazz. Markkanen is one of the league's premier scorers, and is 8th in the league with 27.4 PPG this year. He's also a career 37% 3-point shooter. Filipowski is a playmaker at 6'11". Kessler is the defensive-minded rim protector. Throw in young players like Keyonte George and Ace Bailey - who are only going to get better - and you have the makings of a legit core. The JJJ trade has expedited Utah's rebuild. And next season, if no one can stop their big ball lineups, they could be towering over opponents - both on the court and on the scoreboard.
