#TSRUpdatez: #TSRPolitics—Last month, a federal judge ruled that #DonaldTrump’s name must be removed from the #KennedyCenter. With the deadline now here, a Kennedy Center official has confirmed that his name has been removed.

According to @apnews, Matt Floca, executive director and chief operating officer for the center, said in a filing that Trump’s name has been removed from “all physical signage on the Kennedy Center building and grounds, including the front portico, that purports to rename the Kennedy Center after President Trump.”

It’s noted that a tarp has been concealing the scaffolding as workers worked to remove Trump’s name from the building. Therefore, onlookers have not yet gotten a clear visual of the name being removed. At the moment, it’s unclear when the tarp will be removed to show the building’s original name.

As previously reported, Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that the board “overstepped its statutory bounds” when adding Trump’s name to the building, and ordered his name to be removed. Last December, Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty sued President Donald Trump and the Board of Trustees after his named was added to the building.
