Los Angeles’ voting map is pretty fascinating.
Incumbent mayor Karen Bass is leading in this week’s primary election, while reality TV star Spencer Pratt is holding down the second spot. City councilmember Nithya Raman is in third.
Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, the top two will land in a runoff election later this year.
The maps show some of the city’s sharp geographic divides, with different neighborhoods backing different candidates across Los Angeles.
Swipe through to see how your area voted, along with the density levels of voting (third slide).
There are still over 30% of votes outstanding, so these numbers are all expected to shift.
By the way, we have a weekly newsletter with what’s worth knowing about and doing in Los Angeles. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
