The Ferrari Luce was supposed to mark a massive moment for one of the most iconic luxury brands on earth, but instead the reaction was so rough that Ferrari’s stock reportedly dropped as much as 6.3% following the reveal. 📉
A lot of the backlash has centered around one thing: it just doesn’t feel like a Ferrari.
From the icy blue launch color instead of classic Ferrari red to the futuristic EV styling, fans are saying the Luce looks more like a high-end concept car or a future Mustang than something carrying the prancing horse badge. 😂
Ferrari says the car was designed with Jony Ive and LoveFrom, will come in 35 colors, feature AWD, four doors, five seats, and a radically different interior than anything they’ve made before.
To be fair, people hated plenty of iconic designs when they first dropped. And realistically, once these start showing up in person, opinions will probably change fast.
But right now? Ferrari fans are definitely struggling with the idea of an electric Ferrari that looks nothing like the Ferraris they grew up obsessing over. 🚫
