ESPN’s latest mock draft has the Chiefs selecting Oregon star TE Kenyon Sadiq with the 9th overall pick ⚡️
“Yes, Travis Kelce is back in Kansas City. But he’s turning 37 next season, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes needs playmakers in this offense. Sadiq is as explosive and versatile as they come,” Mel Kiper wrote.
Sadiq, 21, took an official visit with the Chiefs at their facility and was able to meet Travis Kelce.
“It was awesome. Just kind of a moment of realization… like, this is the NFL,” Sadiq told SI.com.
Sadiq (6-3, 241 pounds) solidified himself as TE1 of this year’s class with a stellar combine performance:
