The new building combines a wide range of recreational amenities with high-performance training infrastructure. The 178,000-plus sq ft centre integrates the newly rehabilitated Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre and includes a 50 m pool, a 333 m indoor running track, a fitness centre, courts, studios, a bouldering wall, indoor playground and more.
Its standout feature however, is a 250-metre indoor cycling track and velodrome with spectator seating, making it North America’s first indoor triathlon training centre that supports year-round swimming, cycling and running under one roof and can host competitions and community programs.
